My crib

Today I realized two things. First of all, it’s already two weeks ago that I arrived, and secondly… I still haven’t showed you any pics of the place where I’m living!

As you have probably already seen on google maps, my street – Clos de la Fonderie – is located next to a river. Even though the river isn’t as blue in real life as it is on the google satellite, I think it's nice and it reminds me of the Ardennes :)

Clos de la Fonderie is a short street full of flats. I am living in an apartment on the first floor of one of them.

When you enter the place, the first thing you see is the living room. It’s a real cozy place; lots of Buddha’s, angels and paintings. By the way, I took the pics this afternoon when the weather outside was not that good... So the place looks a bit dark.

In the back of the living room is a small extra room where you can put your laundry to dry and… it’s the place where my fancy-21-gear-mountainbike is standing! Today after work I went cycling in France!

On the left side of the apartment you find the big kitchen…

…and when you walk to the right side you walk towards my bedroom. Small, but perfect for three months.

My great river-side view.

Across the hallway you walk right into my bathroom. The shower is too low for a tall Dutch girl like me, and also a bit aggressive (my dear future guests, you will find out what I mean by that J), but for the rest it’s all perfect.

And of course my own fancy toilet!

So that was it! This is the place where I'm living until the end of July. Me and Mr Blub - the pet of the house - hope you all enjoyed the tour and please don't hesitate to come over and have a look at it yourself one day! :)

Ciaociao,

Yoline &
