Guess I have to make it a daily update... a lot of things are happening !
1. Next week I'll receive another email from the Tuberculosis department at WHO with more information concidering a possible internship over there. They really seem serious and interested!
2. Today I got a phonecall from Denmark, from the Public Relations department of WHO. Hm it was an euh... 'interesting' phone call. First sentence: 'Is it ok if I put you on speakerphone cause there are 5 other persons in the room'. Turned out it was already some kind of formal interview for the project. Shit, I was really not prepared for that! Hope it went fine...
3. After a long day walking around in the city with Celso, I returned back home and what did I find in my inbox? A third email from WHO. This time from the department of Epidemic and Pandemic Alerts and Responses. For instance, they operate during new SARS outbreaks. Really interesting, and they might be able to offer me an internship in Genova..!
4. This coming saturday I'm meeting the Swedish guy who's working on this virtual AIDS archive. Although I must admit that I don't think I will go to Stockholm again for 7 months, I'm curious what he can tell and offer me so I will meet him anyway.
5. The Dutch ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport will send me an email before friday about a possible project as well...
6. Next week thursday I'm meeting a professor in Leiden who might be able to offer me a project at the RIVM. It's about setting up a website concidering certain health issues and how the public can be informed about it etc etc etc
In other words... I actually think I don't have the problem of finding a project, but it will be a problem of choosing one !!

I miss your daily update! :D
Same here!
