Christmas has started!

Today was a really nice day ! I went to a small island in the North of Stockholm - Vaxholm - together with Claire, Jolien and Rianne. We went by boat, and the moment the engines started, the sun started shining. Resulting in a beautiful view all trip long.

I’d already been in Vaxholm three years ago, and it had not changed a thing - still a cute, beautiful little town. And since shops are allowed from this weekend on to decorate their shop-windows with Christmas stuff, there was a really nice and cozy ambiance. I actually got in such a Christmas mood that I have bought an advent-calendar and a Christmas star to hang up in front of my window.

But don’t worry, I won’t forget Sinterklaas this year! The 5th I will bake together with all the Dutchies a lot of kruidnootjes, taai taai and schuimpjes, and we will make small chocolate letters. We will bake a lot, because at night we will celebrate this Dutch day together with a lot of persons. Yep, this year I will be celebrating Sinterklaas together with Swedish, German, Turkish, Greek, and Chinese persons!

kram, Yoline

PS another picture I took on Fridaynight when I went out with all the girls plus Alessandro, Marieke’s boyfriend. From left to right: Alessandro, Marieke, Rianne, Jolien and Claire.

Cool, zo'n multiculti Sinterklaasfeest!
